Giving Birth in BC
Giving Birth in BC is an interactive exploration of perinatal data in BC and different areas within perinatal health. Topics include how birth is changing, the age of mothers, home births, and different types of health care providers.

Birth After Caesarean

Both vaginal birth and planned caesarean are healthy options for a birth after caesarean. 'My Next Birth' can help you decide what is best for you and your baby.

Early Labour

Early labour is a normal part of the birthing process. It's when irregular contractions begin to occur, your cervix softens, shortens and prepares to open. It can last from several hours to several days and may start and stop several times. Staying home during early labour has many benefits and can help you to progress in labour. Always seek help from your health care provider and hospital as needed.
