The Surveillance team provides ongoing systematic analysis and interpretation of perinatal data in the process of describing and monitoring trends in perinatal health in BC. Working closely with the Information Systems team, we provide health care providers, policy makers, planners, administrators, and researchers with timely, relevant and quality data to improve maternal-fetal and newborn outcomes, as well as to facilitate systems planning, guide decision making, and enhance knowledge generation and translation.
